Is it good for the whole family to share an Ebay account or should we each make our own.

The kids are mature enough. A 12 year old, 14 year old, and parents.

  1. Personally one account would be less trouble and you can keep an eye on everything (so many scams involving ebay) and personally again, I don't think 12 and 14 is old enough to do ebay.  You don't know how many times kids have caused their parents accounts to be closed or frozen due to bidding on things the parents would in no way pay for.  Keep in mind, a winning bid on Ebay is a contract and your credit could even be affected by non paying an auction someone in your family won.  IMHO

  2. I might also add that the spam is awful and many e-mails come in saying the account has run out of money and lock down. Which Directs you to a fake ebay site to sign in with your pass words. Then your account is stolen. The same with paypal and they do have learners program that takes you through this showing how these are fake websites.

Ebay does have there own message board, but they can still fool you

  3. This is up to you but there are allot of freedoms with this account.I wouldn't suggest it just because it is so easy to just click and buy items.Depending on what type of account some are linked directly to your credit cards and bank account.
