Yep it is.  It'll be released September 9

Prolly they made NHL 08 for PS2. They should because I don't think any one would want to get like a PS2 just for NHL 09

DCFury - are you sure?  its the first of the new gen hockey games.  i thought it was made specifically for the new engine?

NCAA football definitely wasnt a new engine.  It was like playing NCAA 04 with better graphics.

As far as I know, NHL 09 is supposed to have a new engine, as is Madden.
