Ear ache? Help me please??

Question

I went on water rides today and got a ton of water in my ear and it hurts!! It feels like a deep ache. I tried jumping on in down, slapping the other side of my head, and i even took a pain killer...NOTHING IS WORKING!! Any advice?

one time when i was young.. i was at a weekend type concert with my father... i suffered an ear ache... and it hurt so bad.. that i thought my head was gonna explode... we went to a medic tent... i know this sounds really odd.. but the EMS guy told me to take a cotton ball place it it In the ear that was in pain, and when i went to go to bed, sleep on THAT side... the next morning the ache was gone...  i have been doing that ever since.. and its worked for me...  hope this helps

Not a nice feeling! Go to the chemist and get some "Aqua Ear". It helps to clear the water out - I don't know how but it works. If your store doesn't have that ask the pharmacist they will be able to help. Good Luck there is nothing worse than having an ear ache.

When i was little and swam a lot i got ear aches. To help and make them go away. Put about a cap full of peroxide in your ear, then tip your head sideways and get it back out. (This flushes the ear and removes bacteria and lose water) Then for the ear ache take a cotton ball and dip a little in vix vapor rub place in your ear for a little while it will make it feel cool and the ear ache wil soon go away.
