Ok, im 36 1/2 weeks and lately i've been experiencing a lot of pressure in my back and my pelvis. Like someone is trying to spread my hips apart. It is soo uncomfortable!!! Its uncomfortable walking, sitting, anything!!! And my braxton hicks contractions have been coming on a little stronger and have been reaching around to my back. Could this all mean that my lil angel is coming real soon??? What does all this mean period! ??? Thank you all for your help.

  1. i am jealous because i am about 36-37 weeks and i have nothing but it defiantly sounds like your body is preparing for the big day

  2. I'd phone you're midwife hun, and tell her, im not sure if it would be labour yet, but it can happen! i was 10 days late with my son, so its a bit different. i knew i was in labour because i got contractions so strong that i knew staright away, as they were unbearable. but we're all different, so yes, id talk to your midwife as soon as possible, just to make sure!

  3. Your body is preparing for labor and delivery.  Your pelvic area is loosening up for when the baby has to come out.  If you have any concerns, you can always call L&D.

  4. Is your baby already dropped?? Of course he is coming soon!! Average pregnancy lasts 40 weeks and MOST times it is 2 weeks early....GETTING CLOSE!! If you are anxious I'd walk around the block a few times...walk for a long distance it really gets the labor going!!!! But don't go to the hospital until they are just a couple minutes apart..otherwise they'll just send you home and you won't be happy about that....childbirth is the best thing to happen!!! So be sure you're absolutely ready and the little monster is begging to see mommy!!

  5. Girl yes you should see the doctor because with my son that's how i was. I thought I was just having braxton hicks and it was labor pains in my back.
