2. __________ is the number of protons in an atom.

3. ___________ is the number of protons and neutrons in an atom or the mass of the atom's ___________

4. ________________ are substances of combined elements, but not chemically, so they keep their own properties.

5. ___________________ are atoms of the same chemical element with different atomic mass.

    2) Atomic number

    3) Atomic mass, moles

    4) Molecules

    5) Isotopes

    6) "lattice" or ionic compound

  2. The number of protons is equal to the number of electrons in an atom; therefore, all atoms are electrically neutral.

The atomic number is the number of protons in an atom.

Atomic weight is the number of protons and neutrons in an atom or the mass of the atom's nucleus.

Molecules are substances of combined elements, but not chemically, so they keep their own properties. (not sure on that one...but I think it's right)

Isotopes are atoms of the same chemical element with different atomic mass.

Lattice structures are the regular arrangement of ions.
