Earthquake in Indiana?

Who else felt the 5.4 Earthquake in Indiana/Illinois this morning? Woke me up!!! Where do live if you could feel it?

yes. it scared the c**p outta me here in chicago. i never felt anything like that before and i thought i was having a nightmare.

it wasn't too strong, but it was strong if you've never been in one.

I live in Elkhart, Indiana and it woke me up this morning. Scared me to death!

Elkhart is close to Notre Dame.  Northern Indiana.

We live halfway between Muncie & Anderson, Indiana.  I woke up at 5:39am and thought WIFE was tossing & turning, but she was snoozing away.  The TV in the bedroom was rattling and the bed was shaking.  I got up and turned on the TV to find out it was an earthquake and not a dream!

Other than a few pictures being tilted, no damage can be found.  It was an exciting morning!

I felt it and I thought I was tripping till my mother called n' tol me turn on the news but i live in Griffith,In right by Gary ,IN n' 5 mins outside of chicago

I live in Corydon Indiana.

Everyone told me it was bad here around 5:30 am...apparently I slept thru it.  Mom (who lives in the next town over) said she thought it was a tornado because there was like a weird roaring sound.   But, I felt an aftershock around 11 am.  My computer desk started shaking and my little dog freaked out and tried to climb up my leg.

I live in Eastview Ky which is about 1 hour away from Louisville Ky and we felt it big time.  My bed began to shake and my dogs were going nuts.  It sounded and felt like a frait train was going through my house.  We had 1 (Nonbrakable) picture fall off of our wall.

I live in indianapolis and I did.I was getting ready for school and I was in the shower turning the water on and i started shaking and I was like ok thats either me shaking by myslef or an earthquake and I was just kidding about the earthquake because we never get earthquakes.Then I turned on the raido and hear dhtat we had an earthquake.

I might have woken up or it was in my dream I felt it. Because when something like that happens while I am dreaming my dream does that. But I do remember feeling some shaking.

I live in Greene county and it woke me up too. Where do you live? Did you check out the government site. It actually says that it was 5.2 and you can put in your information where you felt it as well. Here is the site www.earthquake.usgs.gov.  Yeah I got a little freaked out, but I have to admit it was pretty cool!

I live in New Albany, Indiana, the eastern half of the state. It woke me up! Shook me out of bed. I KNEW it was an earthquake, it had to be. I looked outside and everybody on my street had their lights on. All in all, since no one was hurt, I say it was FUN! An experience we Hoosiers won't forget.

We felt it here in Sibley.  We're about 200 miles West of St.  Louis.  Must have been pretty big!

I live about 25 miles west of Chicago - I did not feel it where I live although on the TV news reports this morning several people in surrounding suburbs did say it woke them up.
