Easy Group Costume???

Question

Ok, there's going to be me and another leader and 10 others. We are all teenagers (boys and girls).

Me and the other leader have to come up with a theme/costume for are group and we have to bring the stuff for anyone, so it needs to be cheap/simple.

Does any one have any ideas? There's going to be 50 groups so we need something original.

And we only have a week to get them, so I don't think that we'll be able to buy anything online...

Rent the movie "Grease" with Olivia Newton John and John Travolta that would be a good group costumes to replicate at low cost as you could raid your Mom and Dad's closets or go to Goodwill or whatever?

Another suggestion you may like is for the group to do a color theme, like everyone where black pants, white shirts and neck ties with dark sunglasses and a straight hat. That would look sharp altogether and most people have those items around their house.

If you must bring something for everyone to wear you are going to be really limited to what you can do.  Maybe go to the dollar store and see what you can coordinate for all to be a group.  They have cheap flowers, jewerly, sunglasses, odds and ends.

you could have someone be austin powers and everyone else be hippies.

you could have all the guys be like gangsters and the girls be flappers.

you could also do football players and cheerleaders.

The last time I went trick-or-treating, I dressed as a pioneer woman, in a simple (yet pretty) red calico dress with a matching sunbonnet. You could all dress as pioneers!

Donuts--use innertubes and decorate them with paint or craft paper to look like frosting and sprinkles.  Or put on basketball jerseys, shorts, and tennis shoes, along with the donuts, to be Dunking Donuts (see below):

Or one of you can be a cup of coffee and the rest of you the donuts.

You could do Harry Potter and pick a House like Gryffindor.  Or you could just pick a theme like everyone be cowboys and cowgirls or clowns, ect.  Or something cool like 80's punk rock band or hippies.

Spa goers (dress in pajamas and robes, and then put some treatments on your face like you're doing a mud mask, wear towels around your head and slippers/flip flops like you're at the spa!)

Wedding Party! You can gather together some dresses in and suits in the same color, and it will be like you're all in the same wedding party.
