Easy broccoli recipe?

Hey there, so I have this thing of broccoli, I want to make something for dinner for myself using it. I don't like broccoli w/ cheese, so please don't suggest that, but I'm open to anything else that is fairly easy. Thanks

  1. 30ml oil

    2ml cumin seeds

    2,5ml ground coriander

    1ml paprika

    1/2 butternut squash, cut into cubes

    300ml vegetables stock

    80g broccoli, cut into small florets

    5ml tomato paste

    3ml sugar

    100ml chickpeas

    30ml cilantro,chopped roughly

    In a saucepan heat oil and cook cumin seeds, coriander and paprika for 1 minute and stir. Add butternut and stir until cubes are coated spices.Add 100ml of stock and allow to simmer until stock has evaporated.Add broccoli,tomato paste,sugar and 100ml of stock.Allow to cook, stirring with the lid open.Add chickpeas and remainder of stock and cook until it has reduced.

I place the cut broccoli florets on a roasting pan and drizzle them with olive oil, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes and chopped garlic and I roast them in a 425 degree oven for 15-20 minutes or until desired tenderness.  The broccoli turns out so good this way and not mushy like when it's boiled.

    Broccoli florets

    Crumbled bacon

    Seeds (pumpkin, sunflower, sesame)

    Raisins

    Shredded jack cheese (if using)

    Dressing: Mayo, white vinegar, sugar, s&p

    Make dressing.  Combine broccoli, bacon, seeds, raisins, and cheese if using.  Top with dressing, chill an serve.

  4. Cut the broccoli into bite size pieces and lightly toss with a minced clove of garlic (to taste). Drizzle with olive oil. Add salt and pepper to taste. Wrap in aluminum foil and bake at 350 for about 15 minutes or throw them on the grill - excellent!

    2 1/4 cups Original Bisquick® mix

    2 2/3 cups milk

    1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

    1 can (12 oz) chunk light tuna in water, drained

    1/8 teaspoon pepper

    2 cups Green Giant® frozen broccoli cuts

    1. Heat oven to 450°F. In medium bowl, stir 2 cups of the Bisquick mix and 2/3 cup of the milk until soft dough forms. On ungreased cookie sheet, drop dough by 6 spoonfuls. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until tops are golden brown.

    2. Meanwhile, in 2-quart saucepan, stir remaining 2 cups milk and 1/4 cup Bisquick mix with wire whisk until completely smooth. Cook over medium heat 9 to 11 minutes, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens. Gently stir in cheese, tuna and pepper. Cook 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until hot.

    3. Cook broccoli as directed on package; drain.

    4. To serve, split each biscuit; arrange bottoms on serving plate. Top each with slightly less than 1/2 cup tuna mixture and 1/4 cup broccoli. Top with biscuit tops.

  6. If you are looking to cook it as a side item, roasting is good. cut into spears or bite sized pieces, toss with olive oil and whatever spices you like. Roast on 400 or so and turn them as they turn brown. You just need to watch them, so they don't burn. The brown will give a nice nutty flavor. Very easy and good.  

  7. Broccoli tossed in with mayo, honey, sunflower seeds, and raisins.... Yum!

    FYI... have to zap the mayo and honey together in the microwave for a bit then stir it till creamy and add the other stuff then toss with broccoli

  8. make a casserole with potatoes and ham - cream sauce works if you're not into cheese - salt and pepper with onion to taste.

    Steam with butter, salt and pepper to taste - pretty good too.

    Add to cooked curly pasta with crab, red onions and italian dressing for a fresh cool salad.

    Add to wild rice and chicken and bake in oven
