Easy cinema online dvd rental problem

Question

Just signed up for an online dvd rental and thought the cost was £1.99 per dvd after giving my bank details was told that my debit card will be debited with £19.99 today. I dont have the total amount in the bank and dont have a overdraft will the bank still let them take the amount and charge me Im with the Halifax?

  it will be up to your bank whether they let the payment go through, if they do you will get charged a small amount, if you can get to the bank tomorrow morning and (if you can deposit the money to your account).

  if they refuse the payment you shouldnt be charged.

  i have been a member of easy cinema before and you can cancel your subscription by going to your account and following the instructions, they will not have dispatched the first dvd yet and you maybe able to stop the payment transaction.
