  1. no easy answer really but i used to give my son a book to look at to keep him on potty. when he got up if something been done make a big fuss. do standing once he gets this as when i try-ed standing thing straight off he would sit for a poo then suddenly stand up to wee all over my floor. hard work to hold it and turn around too.lol

  2. no child is easy.... but i did hear you can put cheerios in the toilet..... tell him to aim!

  3. NO NOT REALLY BECAUSE YOU HAVE TEACH BOYS HOW TO DO TWO THINGS STAND TO PEA AND SIT DOWN TO ****.

  4. It helped my sons to potty trained standing up.  They could see what was happening and connect the sensations.  I wanted my boys to be able to stand at the toilet so I researched and found a very sturdy stool with sides for the toilet so they could hold on whether they were standing or sitting.  http://www.amazon.com/Elite-Child-Corpor...

    This stool made all the difference for them and they were potty trained right away.  Well worth it.  Hope this helps.

  5. My son was definately harder to potty train than my daughter. Iwas just at Walmart, and they have a plastic training urinal there. My boys are already potty trained, but I thought it would have been nice while I was in the process. Anyways, we used incentives at first. A sticker chart or a token when they would go, and then once they filled the chart or got enough tokens, they got a prize.

  6. Well it took me over a year to potty train my boy....

    couple things worked for a while...

    * put that stuff that makes the water in the toilet blue - when he pees the water will become green (so you can tell him "lets go make the water green)

    * make a potty song

    * take his favorite stuffed animal to the potty and put a big boy pants on the stuffed animal.

    * reasure him that he doesnt HAVE to use the toilet - but if he does it means he is a big boy

    * if he resists.. back off! try another time

    - boys have to be ready for this... my son was potty trainned when he was almost 4!

    **** dont worry about the stand to pee and sit to p**p....

    just have him sit on the toilet for both - it will stress you less...

  7. Lots of postive reinforcement and consistency
