  1. contact signal fm in staffordshire  a local radio station.. they could ask on their website and maybe even run an article on one of their shows.. nowt more honest than locals

  2. hooters

  3. THE WINKING MAN?

  4. try the  ole farmer pub in the Cannock area

  5. Try the following;

    The Shire Horse (A34 on outskirts of Stafford on Stone Road)  Good menu and great selection of specials - reasonably priced.

    Radford Bank - by BMW garage in Stafford, Cavery is exceptional good value for money during the week with plenty of choice, but is dearer and very very popular at the weekends

    The Bull and Spec's - Blithbury nr Rugeley, country pub, good prices huge array of specials, worthy of a trip out.

    Malt Shovel - Hammerwich or is it Gentleshaw nr Cannock.  If you love fish then it has a huge fish specials, not the cheapest but great quality and choice using fresh and local products, again very, very popular advise to book at weekends.

    If you go to the Staffordshire Tourist Info website there is a specialised section on Eating out in Staffordshire.

    Hope these are ok or is there something more specific that you're looking for cuisine wise?  Indian, traditional, bistro, chinese, etc.
