i weigh 150 pounds and another person on the flight weighs 300 pounds, why do we have the same baggage weight allowance?

  1. because the airlines cannot discriminate based on weight..  Airlines sell seats...each seat is allotted a certain amount of baggage weight... So my advise to you is to look at it that way....
