Ebay payment question.?

well im about to buy item at ebay but i got little question

i am new to ebay.

1.my friend say i can pay with check when the item came to my house is it true?

2.i am 16 they say i can buy anything unless i am 18 and over what happen if i am 16 and buy stuff at ebay?

3.what happen if i send them money and item dont come?

1. You cannot pay with a check when the item comes to your house. You send the check to the seller, he waits for it to clear the bank, then he sends it to you.

2. If you have a checking account in your name, you may be able to buy from ebay. If you are not permitted, have your parent send a check or buy through paypal.

3. If you send a check, and the item doesn't come within two weeks, you check with your bank to see whether it was cashed. Then you complain to the seller by e-mail. If you don't get a response, you give the seller a bad report, and report it also to ebay.

4. It is a good idea to carefully read your question before you send it to make sure that you haven't made any mistakes.
