Eczema problem...what can I do?

I have patches of eczema on my elbow, thumb, and forearm; it's been there for forever, and it makes me self conscious when I leave the house! If anyone knows any good treatments for this (something that makes it top itching, and makes it go away) please tell me. I don't care if I have to smear raw eggs on it- it bugs the c**p outta me. my mom said coconut oil helps, but it makes it itch even more, and it gets red. Sorry if I bothered you by writing so much =P

Thanks for your help- Lauren

  1. cortisone ointment sold over the counter is excellent for eczema.

  2. Stay away from the halogen, energy saving lights.  They may contribute to eczema.

  3. i have had terrible problems with eczema. i found a great product though. its totally natural and affordable. 4 dollars for a bar of soap. its called pine tar soap. i found it at this website. its a company called the soapmakery. its works really fast and wont harm your skin. check out the testimonials!!

  4. Try to get some corticosteroid cream from your doctor.

  5. Hello there.  Vaseline helps (it moisturizes). For my eczema I use herbal cream from Champori.com with a great success, too.  Try it: it is natural and readily available online.
