Educated In Bartending..

Do you have some sort of proper education, like a license, to be a bartender?? and also, do girl bartenders get harassed a lot??

Its not required in a lot of places but its always a good idea to have a certification or Serve Safe type of training because you're handling beverages and garnishes and can still be held accountable for bacteria transference without them. Female bartenders probably do get harassed but it just comes with the territory and you learn to handle it properly. A great bartender can make some serious cash though, especially a girl who knows how to flirt with her male customers just right. Its like any other job- sometimes you need to know how to 'schmooze' the customer just right.

If you are behind the bar ,you pretty much safe. Safer than waitress ofcoz.

It's always good to hit some insitution for education. There are particular things you need to know like wine stuffs..what;s the different between grain and grapes mixed. This way you will be able to make your own cocktails or create stuffs in a better way :)

For me being bartender isn't a joke.IT's creative and fun..it's not just take order and have fun but to serve my customer by thier own taste..basic knowladge is a plus..there will always be people come and ask...IS there anything that not this and that can you use this instead ..what you recommand for vodka drinks? I can't drink rum blablabla....
