Where are the modern Egyptians bloodlines from, and Ancient Egyptian bloodlines from?

Modern Egyptians are very like their ancestors.  I have a picture in an Egyptian travel book which has a portrait of a handsome young man who looks as if he could have stepped straight out of one of those ancient Egyptian frescoes.

Further to Naz's answer, the Coptic people of Egypt are the direct descendants of the Ancient Egyptians.

ancient were a Nilotic people, originally came from Lake Victoria area; modern are semitic (Arab - official name of country is United Arab Republic.)
