Hi, My little brother is in year 6 this year and has just got an Electricity Project that is needed to be handed in in 3 weeks. I have done this project myself but mine didn't do too well so I'm asking anyone if you could think up a simple project that is for people that have just learnt about circuits and have 3 weeks to complete this project.

  1. Get a battery, a switch, some wire, and a light bulb. Wire them so one lead from the battery goes to the switch and one goes to the light bulb, and then a wire going from the switch to the light bulb. You can probably pick these items up a radio shack or get them from broken electronics you may have.

  2. pull apart one of those littel scale electric cars or any battry operaed toy like that and use the motor to produce electricity by spinning it light up a small bulb or get a few of the hand held cooling fans and hook a couple up in serise to make your wind power generation farm or water wheel it and instant hydro generator

  3. hi!!! i researched a little for you and your lil bro and i found this website which has really cool ideas. http://dev-school.discoveryeducation.com...

i really hope it helps :) k goodluck guys!!

  4. When I was his age I learned a great deal from Radio Shack's electronic project kits.  They are easy to build, unique, safe (no high voltages) and fun too. The entry level kits include the following: a Blinking LED device, a Sound Recording device (records up to 20 seconds), and a Solar Project kit (solar cell drives a DC motor). The more advanced kits allow the builder to create one of many different projects. These include the Electronics 101/ 202/ 303 Snap-kits which allow you to build either 101, 202, or 303 different projects. The snap kits require no wires. They are color-coded and simply snap together to create a project. Have fun!
