does the bike use more electricity at night than durng the day?

  1. Most bikes have their headlights wired "on" all the time, so day or night, there is no difference.  If the light is off during the day, then consumption is greater at night.

  3. If you only put your lights on at night then yes it does.

  4. Up until the mid seventies, yes. until then, Most bikes did not have the headlight on all the time. Now I don't think it makes a difference.

  7. The Wing-Dingers do use more juice at night. That's when they turn on their heated glow in the dark riding suits, stereo 20 disk CD changers, coffee pot, and heated bun warmers.
