Electronics help???

Question

i have a trc-221 made by Realistic. it's a cb and it doesn't want to start. i have tried to put batteries in it and i've tried to plug it into the wall and nothing works!!! it's pretty old, i tried to plug it into my rav 4 and i got nothing and i'm starting to wonder if it will work in the truck. let me know what you think's wrong with it.

Did the batteries get old and leak? That may have dmaaged it, needing repair. Also some components such as capacitors can change value or die. You could try searching the net to see if anyone else has had this problem, and see if any hints will help.
