My girlfriends and I were talking about how we would handle it if we walked in on our sons..well Masturbating (real mature i know). So my question to all mothers or soon to be mothers is how would you handle walking in on your teen son masturbating? Or how did you handle it?

If you walk in on him in his room or the bathroom, simply say, "I'm sorry," and walk out, closing the door behind you.  Then make sure you knock next time.

If you walk in on him in the livingroom or some other inappropriate place, have your husband talk to him about when and where it's okay to m********e.

Pretend you didn't notice.  That's what I'd want my parents to do.  It's embarrassing enough to know they saw you, but to talk about it..........well that's worse.  You fell more like your in trouble.

If he were doing it privately, in his room or the bathroom, I'd just turn around and walk out.   And a hint here:  don't walk in on anyone without knocking if they have the door closed!

I've actually had this happen to me and it was the most embarrassing thing ever.  I opened the door and bam so I just closed the door and went on with other things. Needless to say I now knock before entering my son's room.

Truthfully, i would probably start laughing and close the door, then the next time he comes out of his room i would try to atleast talk to him about it.
