Okay my fiance just invited me out. He knows that my kids father doesn't come by to pick them up until tomorrow My kids don't like babysitters.I have know idea what to do. I asked him if he could come to the house. He said it doesn't feel like seeing the kids. He is really confusing me. When he comes to the house I still do have to be a mom. But I'm like what do I do with the kids. I don't know what to do. I told him I would call him by 8:00 ET.

So, you have no babysitter and he doesnt want to see the kids right now....sounds like you'll have to reschedule with him. Family first right...Im sure he'll understand. Unless maybe you can call their father and see if he will take them a night early...Dang, sucks on Friday night too!

FIRST you kids come first. SECOND if he cant understand that then you need to rethink about the man you are engaged to. THIRD if he cant accommodate you then you will just have to work something out or postpone! NEVER COMPROMISE YOUR KIDS HAPPINESS OR WELL BEING FOR ANYONE.

He doesn't feel like seeing the kids? What is that supposed to mean? He's gonna see them when he marries you! Put you kids first and find a man who respects them and someone who is understanding.

Need to know, did your fiance just find out about your kids?  Why would he behave in this manner?  It sounds like he is trying to tell in a round about way, no kids.

I wont make any more wtf comments than. Wtf? Shouldn't your fiance be a guy thats good with your kids? Maybe likes them more then what it appears?

How old are the kids? Old enough for them to be home alone for a few hrs? If yes I vote you go with that. If no i suggest saying that you cant find a sitter and if he wants to do something tonight hes going to have to come over.

Although he may have something special planned that involves you having to come over to his place if him saying he doesn't feel like seeing the kids is way out of character. I wouldn't take my word on that tho.

He's your fiance he should understand that your a mom and that your kids come first. Also depending on the age but get them to go over to a friends for the night? Send them to grandmas?
