Empirical study about inflation targeting framework?

Question

Stiglitz says that inflation targeting is a failure.. he said that it's not right to control inflation regardless the source of inflation.. do any of you guys know empirical study about this topic?

In 1997, Ben S. Bernanke and  Frederic S. Mishkin wrote, a very interesting research about,  "Inflation Targeting: A New Framework  for Monetary Policy"
