Enclosed subwoofer

Question

I had an Infinity Basslink in my 350Z for a year and it suddently died. I replaced it with a Boss BASS800 and after two days, it went into protection mode and wouldn't play either. The only change in my vehicle from a year ago is that I noticed my rear 8's have died. Could that be my problem? If not, I have so many frequencies on my head unit and I have no idea what they mean, could I have something set up wrong?
