  1. Volleyball, horseshoes, lawn darts, 3 legged races, charades, Twister. If you have a bon fire, ask people that play guitar to bring theirs and play.

For the food, consider a potluck style feast. 9th grade girls bring__________, 9th grade boys bring_________, etc.. If that's not an option, then put something on the invitation that is polite and specific.

    Have fun!

  2. If the party is going to start during the day, some ideas of things to have:  volleyball, Frisbee, water balloons, water guns, wiffle ball & bat, badminton

    Other ideas:

    -music (an area to dance)

-ask a high school band to play

    -roast marshmallows & make Smores

    -Karaoke

    Some game ideas:

-relay races:  pass the egg or egg toss, three legged race, pass the orange with your neck

    -limbo

    -BALLOON TRUTH-OR-DARE

Get twenty or more balloons and with a permanent marker, label half "TRUTH" and the other half "DARE". Now, stick  notecards with dares in them in the "DARE" balloons and  notecards with truths on them in the "TRUTH" balloons. With the notecards inside the balloons, blow the balloons up. Seperate the TRUTH & DARE balloons into two seperate piles. Now designate someone to go first, and have them choose one balloon out of either pile. Then that person must find a way to pop the balloon and then read the notecard. Repeat for each player.

    -I NEVER DID THAT

Each person receives several (10 or 15 is a good number) pennies, jellybeans or similar small objects. The group sits in a circle. Each person tells of something they have never done. Anyone who has done this must give the speaker one of their pennies or whatever. After going around the circle twice, the person with the most tokens wins.

Caution: Often the women will choose items targeted at men (I've never shaved my face") and men at the women (I've never worn mascara). Therefore it is best to either ensure that the group sits with men and women alternated or to ask the group to avoid s*x related statements and go with more generic statements.

    -LOVERS LIFESAVERS

Split group into two teams and form two lines. After you split the number of people you will need to give each player a toothpick and give the first person in each line one lifesaver. They must transfer the lifesaver onto the toothpick of the person behind them without using their hands. The next players must now transfer the lifesaver to the person behind them and so forth down the line (and back again if you want to make it a longer game). If something happens to the lifesaver that team must start over.

    -MYSTERY MADNESS

First get a bag full of different funny clothes including hats, shirts, bras, swim suit tops and bottoms, boxers, skirts, coats etc. Then have all players sit in a circle. With music playing they pass the bag around until the music stops. When the music stops the player who has the bag has to close their eyes and reach into the bag. Whatever they pull out they have to wear. When the bag is empty, everyone votes to determine who looks the funniest.

    Another idea:

-You could ask all the people graduating to wear a white t-shirt.  Then get a bunch of fabric markers.  Let people write on their friend a message for the future (or just sign their name.)  Or you could do this with white pillow cases - people could take them to college with them.  Ask everyone to bring their own.

Have a great time at your party!!
