Endangered Animals !!!!???what can we do???

Question

what annimals do u know are in danger of becoming extint because of poaching to get it's body parts etc?

and what laws are protecting them ?

what can we do about this?

donating money to the World Wildlife Fund (www.wwf.org) and other organizations can help a lot!

there is the full list on the us fish and wildlife service. It all depends on the rating if there really threatened or just restricted. IF you see this happening call the dnr or police, do not be afraid to do it. It can take years for animals to be added to the list, and by then it is too late.

whales, sharks, certain spiders, fish, lions, rhinos, cheetas!!!!

sharks especially! the eat them in japan! as well as babies! im serious!!!! so to start off.... DONT GO THERE FOR A NICE MEAL!!!!!!

other than that you can inform the community and keep and upto date scedule on all the enviromental issues happening in and around you! get petions signed and get them to people who are on the top of their game!

There's a "magic number" of sorts that once a population of animals reaches, then it becomes endangered. I don't know what the number is exactly, but once the animal becomes endangered, then it's illegal to shoot it.

Unfortunately, a lot of animals are close or even at this number and are still being shot. This sucks. A lot. We need to create stricter laws on this, and the punishments should be worse.

You could send letters to people in government to help them know about the problem and tell them to help it.

And, of course, never hunt for fun. Is it FUN to shoot something and watch it die? Sick.

Well, you can stop buying products like aligator shoes and ivory whatnot, don't hunt for the fun of it, and don't buy taxidermy animals.
