I work in the aircraft industry as an engineer. I LOVE my job. Where else can you get to look at airplanes flying that you have helped design or test? If I weren't good at my job, I would have been laid off years ago. The aircraft industry is highly competitive, like most industries.

Lol, yeah read dilbert. Technically, I'm not a hired engineer, but I do things with computer circuits and do stuff like wire up doorbells with tunes and people pay me. It's good fun.

oh yeah, its exciting! to start with, imagine creating something of your own, imagine making a product,.. you can put electronics to do your job! you can automate your room for instance, the lighting, switching,.. sounds exciting, eh? putting your knowledge to test and seeing it work is so satisfying.

for example, in my first two years in college, i did mini-projects like automatic water lvl controller, turbidity indicator, auto emergency backup light, alarms, etc. you can do bigger projects incorporating microcontrollers, transducers, wireless... all this is real fun!

jobs in electronics field are exciting- vlsi, embedded systems, signal processing,. you'll be makin processors faster, makin systems more efficient, reliable.. electronics is the reward for choosing electronics!

if ya have zeal for electronix, you'll be good at it.
