Environment Question........?

Question

I am not all that into the global warming issue like many others but I am however concerned about the future of our planet. I would like to know some sites that would really help me know where to start with recyling and stopping some of the pollution I may cause. I would also like to know some ways to "GO GREEN" @ home ....Thanks in advance.....

star to recycle paper, glass, aluminum cans, and organic material waste such as  food.

Each  of the go in different bags.

reduce the waste of electricity in home.

use totes instead of plastic bags in the supermarket

turn of the standby lights on tv etc when not in use, lightbulbs replace for low energy ones, recycle glass, tin, plastic at your local bins. re use bags. turn off lights when not in use. buy a compost bin and water butt.

Here are some Carbon footprint websites- carbon footprints are literally how much carbon you produce. And a caculator to help you reduce it.
