  1. I am Episcopalian myself and you do not convert to the Episcopal Church at all not from what I know.

  2. It's really very easy. You just start going to a church, and that's it.

If you have already been baptised in a Christian Church you don't have to do that again. If not, there is now an exciting avenue to baptism for adults that basically will give you the information you need to understand and fully participate in the Church.

But that's for somewhere down the line, and it's only for you if you want to do it. The Book of Common Prayer has a catechism that spells out very briefly our beliefs.

If you wish to learn more, I would find an Episcopal Church and simply start going, and ask to speak with the clergyperson (we have male and female priests), and explore as much as you need to. Many parishes (a single congregation is called a parish) have an ongoing educational program for newcomers. It's a way to get to know the people and customs of this new group.

The Episcopal Church welcomes you, regardless of your race, sexual orientation, financial status, or the number of times you've been born. Have no fears; there no need to check your brains at the door.

  3. Go to the EC priest and tell them. If you have already been baptized elsewhere, then just get a letter confirming that from the church were it happened. They will accept that and admit you to full communion. When the next Inquirer's class comes up, join it and go through the Confirmation process...similar to Catholics. I did this, myself, in my thirties.

  4. If you're interested, this is a popular forum for Episcopalian Christians, you may find more answers here...
