Ept test positive before missed period?

Question

Ok, so I took 2 ept tests late last night, one regular +/- test and one digital.

The non-digital test confused me a bit, because the first thing that came up in the round window was the horizontal line. A few seconds later a very very faint vertical line crossed it. I wasn't sure if that still counted as a positive, so shortly after I took the ept digital test and that came out positive.

It is still about 2-3 days before my missed period (I'm so impatient :P), so I'm just wondering how accurate these tests are at this point, or if i just shouldn't get my hopes up so quickly and just take another test in a few days.

u will def be pregnant even if the line is very very faint

It is not very often you will get a false positive. It is possible your hormone levels are just high enough for the test to pick it up.

Congrats, your preggers!  You cant get a false positive, you either have HCG (pregnancy hormones) in your system or you don't.

Some tests today, can be 100% accurate up to 5 days before the first day of your period.
