I imagine the 'equal opportunity lover' would love everyone, regardless of creed, national origin, race, handicap, religion, age, gender, etc.

That could be a good thing, depending on which definition of the word love you're referring to.......

Someone who prefers that the whole of mankind has the same rights as each of his fellowmen.

It is arguable that whilst this is commendable it is a difficult one when comparing 3rd world countries to the rest of the world.
