  1. Im assuming your talking about the stock market? Im not sure what a share market it?

Stick to equities, commodities are for professionals.

  2. It depends on whether you want to do--to trade or to invest?

If you want to invest--stock market. If you want to trade, you can do both commodities trading and stock trading. As everyone knows, there is difference between the two. When you invest in stocks, you are looking for value. You want to put your money in a company that has long term profitability. Consequently, when you trade, either commodities or stocks, you want to buy at a low price, then sell at a higher price and do not care about value or long term profitability of the instrument you are trading.

You might want to open a demo trading account first. This way, you will learn how to trade/invest without risking your hard earned money.

    Hope this helps.
