Essay about Sport and the Law?

Question

I need to write an essay about sport and the law, but I'm not too sure what to talk about in it. I've decided to talk about contracts, violence in sport and possibly drugs. It need to be quite a long essay so can you please suggest topics and examples for those topics.

you could also try the topic of negligence, ie when a referee does not hold the game together and someone gets injured, the ref can be sued for negligence in tort. or try  assault when a foul goes beyond that of what is consented to in the rules of a game, there are cases on these issues.
