Essentials to bring to the snow?

hi next week im going to the snow with my 2 besties

and like i know a bit about the snow but i have not ever

been before...

so if you can just write a little list on what i should bring

or like some sites with it

The obvious things are warm clothes (hat, gloves, jacket, sweater, maybe thermal underwear).

Snow reflects sunlight and sunglasses are a good idea.  Sunscreen is important if you plan to be outside for more than a few minutes.  You need sunscreen even if the sky is cloudy.

Also remember that snow is just frozen water and it tends to melt on your shoes - soaking them.  Consider wearing something waterproof over your shoes or wear "snow boots" that are waterproof themselves.
