Essex and sussex?

how do you say those?

i've heard people say

essex:

1. ay-ssex

2. eh-ssex

sussex:

1. soosex(o_O??)

2. suhsex

i mean i know it's a stupid question

but honetly

wth?

the correct/standard pronunciations in each case are the second ones

I say Eh-ssex and Suhsex. It's just a case of regional accents which can distort what someone is saying.
