Ethos Fuel Reformulator?

Has anyone had success using Ethos Fuel Reformulator? Have you increased your gas mileage? Please don't respond if all you're going to say is "It's a scam."

Almost.  For the most part.

Check out the in depth study of Ethos in the link provided below.  It seems that their product might be able to reduce smoke from diesel engines and possibly improve mileage a tiny bit, but nothing substantial and they haven't conducted any scientific studies that prove their claims of 7-19% increase in mileage.

I'm still trying it.  Added some to my last tank of gas and I only got 0.18 mpg better than before which adds up to about $0.029 in savings per gallon.  The site says try it for 30 days and if you don't get a savings of 20 cents per gallon by then you can get double your money back.  You also get the gas certificates so I'd say it's worth a try, I'm sure it varies by whatever car you use.  I'm using a 1993 Mercedes 190E.
