I need to have a sport-specific warmup for european handball. Something that's easy to pick up and can be start/finished in about 10-15 minutes? Hopefully this warmup will help the students get used to the basics of e.h. anyone have any ideas?

  1. strech your arms

  2. Well first off warm your hands up then make sure you cup the balls correctly. that step is of vast importance. you dont want to start things off cold ( you might pull something).

Well you shouldnt just throw balls at each other god knows what might happen. You could put a eye out or hit someone right in the chin with the balls.

  3. HAVE THEM PLAY CATCH WITH A BALL WHILE THEY RUN AROUND. THEY COULD JUST RUN AND THROW A BALL AROUND.

  4. I grew up in Germany, and have been an avid fan of Euro-handballing. I've participated in hand ball since...well...I suppose it was 14. There comes a time in every boy's life when he feels the need to experience real hand ball action. I used to warm up by first ensuring my parents weren't home, as they thought the sport to be too dangerous an activity to engage in as often as I did. I would board the train to frankfurt main, exit the Hop-Bahnhof and go right. there was a stretch of city that was perfect for hand ball activities.
