European champions your having a laugh?

I've always looked up to Man Utd, they have a good selection of british players and still can win Champions league and premierhsip. But what happened last night, they was terrible. I had never heard of Zenit until the semi finals of uefa cup. They was all over Man Utd, what went wrong?

As the other poster said:  You can't win them all.

Yes, they did want to win this one and were outplayed.  The facts still are though that they remained unbeaten in thirteen games last season to earn the right to play in this showpiece event, and they won the champions league spread over games from September to May.
