European health insurance cards (EHIC) query?

My husband and myself have one of these cards from 2 years ago however we now have a baby and we are going away on holiday in December. Does anyone know if I have to get him one aswell or if he is just included on ours? I have checked the websites and as per usual they don't give you a straight answer.

It's the same as for passports.  Your baby will need his own in order to be covered.

I know because a friend in the UK has a baby the same age as my youngest and she checked it out.  Indeed there is little to know info which clearlt states this other than the stndard "everybody"

She did find a site, and I looked for it now but couldn't find it, sorry

I understand  you need to get him one as well.
