Eurostar to Paris.?

Question

Which is the cheapest day of the week to travel to Paris on Eurostar? And is it possible to book a single hotel room? So many places say 'Two sharing' and then they charge you extra for a single room.

traditionally Wednesday is always  the cheapest day to travel cannot really help with the single room supplement problem it as been around years  and as yet nobody as come up with a good solution

Fares on the Eurostar vary depending on load factors and advance booking much like airline fares. there is no simple formula. You should check several different possible dates and times online and see what is available.

The are a fair number of hotels that have single rooms available. My favorite little Left Bank hotel, the St. Andre des Artts has singles for 66 euros. You can get a single at the Hotel Tiquetone has singles with a shared bath for 30 euros.

Look on the Eurostar website. You can call up the prices of the trains. If you can leave early in the morning, mid week, you will get good prices.

One train may cost £30, the following may be double that. The further in advance you boo, the better your deal.
