  1. the Cayman Island is the best to me

  2. Cozumel, Costa Maya, and Belize City are tops on my list.  I know, I know...you said islands.  However, Norwegian offers a seven day cruise that hits those three cities, plus either Guatemala or Honduras.

Off the coast of Mexico and Belize, there is the third best dive sites in the world.  They are relatively cheap also.  We were able to do an offshore snorkel adventure in Costa Maya for our first experience.  The water is crystal clear.

We have dived with sharks in Belize.  It's an adventure in itself.  Of course this was booked through the ship, so it was a totally safe environment.

The water in Cozumel was by far considered the best by everyone.  Make sure you check out the reefs that are located there.

Everyone on our trips loved the diving and snorkeling.  I also talked with several on the boat about other locations and they said you can't go wrong with this area.  It's just something to think about.  The cruise provided a place to dive or snorkel at every location except Guatemala.  In Guatemala though, there's a great resort that allows you to totally feel what relaxed feels like.

    Good luck deciding.

  3. Jamaica, St. Thomas, and Barbados are the most beautiful islands in the carribean. There are numerous things to do on each one of the islands.

  4. If you like to scuba, the Turks and Cacaos is one of the worlds best scuba diving spots! I loved it! I also recommend for a cruise line, Royal Caribbean, Voyager of the Seas, fantastic ship and a ton of fun!

  5. Okay but Las Vegas is the place to enjoy a vacation. Never rains here.

  6. Go to Jamaica and climb the Dunn's River falls. If you like adventure, you'll love this. You start at the bottom on the ocean shore and literally climb up the waterfall. There are no safety measures like in other countries. You get a real exciting climb. Wear beach shoes and a bathing suit and have fun.

  7. If you like scuba go to grand cay men island they have the clearest water in the ocean. Only thing it quiet expensive. If you could get in country Cuba would be a very exciting place to visit. i was stationed there for three years and it was great. Good diving too.

  8. Visit St. Thomas, but take a ferry to St. John's Trunk Bay. It's one of the Top 10 most beautiful beaches in the world and has some breathtaking views, snorkeling along reefs and it's in a National Park, so there's plenty to explore! I've been there twice and it's my favorite stop by far out of all three cruises I've been on. I've been throughout the whole Caribbean and St. John is by far the best!

  9. ST.THOMAS

  10. OK, I have just the cruise for you.  Its on the Royal Caribbean's ships Freedom of the Seas or the Liberty of the Seas.  Both ships are brand new and have the unique to RC ships Flow Rider.  Its a place on the top deck of the back of the ship where you can body surf on a boogie board while you cruise.  Its really works great too.  Then on these ships you can also do rock climbing while you cruise.  Now both ships stop at a private island (kinda like Coco Cay but way more better) that has stuff available (for a fee) like para-sailing, jet skiing, snorkeling, scuba, and a host of other things.  The private island (for RC ships only) is called Labidee.  The ships docks there first thing in the morning and stays all day.

Then both of these ships also go to Cozumel.  Cozumel is the place to go in the Caribeban if you want to scuba or snorkel.  But if you want a bigger adventure you can take one of the tours to the Mexican mainland and go to Chichen Itza (Mayan ruins) or Xcarat (a place where you snorkel, go through an under ground river and swim with dolphins.

Then, depending upon which ship you take, you can go on a raft trip on a river if you stop in Ocho Rios, or go to Dunns Rive Falls.

  11. ahendrix2006 mentioned Costa Maya - it's also a great place to see the Mayan Ruins. It's a bit of a bus ride, but if you're into ruins, you'll probably find it worth the time.

  12. Belize has some really cool virgin coral reefs. Diving is awesome. If you want some ideas, go to www.bestchoicetravels.com and go to the bottom of the page.

Choose 'Nassau, Bahamas' from 'Popular Getaways'  and it sends you to a map of the Caribbean. You can choose an island and it shows you what it has.

  13. St. Maarten
