Everytime i play this song.........?

Question

ok, so everytime i play "you belong to me" by the misfits, the room gets really icy, and i feel really weird. it sucks cuz thats one of my favorite songs. so i tested it a couple times. when i was in the living room, i was listening to my itunes playlist while on myspace and i felt really cold when that song came on. and i felt like i was being watched. same with TONS of other times. could this be anything paranormal? it doesnt happen anywhere but my house. and i have let it play on purpose one time, and nothing happened. its really creeping me out.

That's creeping me out too! lol Maybe you need to research your family history and the history of the house...See if anyone in your family who died liked that song...or anyone who used to live in the house. The words to the song can be "loving" or "obsessive and possessive " Maybe you have a spirit/ghost who's in love with you! lol  Or maybe they want to control you. Or maybe it's just someone who loved that song. Seems like if it was after you..other love songs would have the same effect. What do you mean you let it play on purpose one time? Do you mean you let it play to the end and nothing happened? That's confusing. Maybe you should just keep playing it over and over and see if eventually it stops giving you that creepy feeling. Try to associate the song with something good..a good memory..Maybe that will push out the creepiness.

Edit...Now that I think about it...this is a little bit like when you have PTSD. If you think about the thing that caused it...or if you hear it or see it..then you go into panic mode and have a panic attack..sometimes small..sometimes huge. I don't think you have PTSD...but since this happened once to you..playing it might trigger those same feelings. BUT..you said it only happens in your house and didn't happen when you played it all the way through...so that lets out that theory.  I can see getting a "warm" feeling from the song..if it brought back loving memories to the spirit..but I don't understand about the cold feeling. I used to experience more warm feelings than cold feelings.You know how in church ..a song is sung and you get that wonderful feeling? I'd say it's kinda the same..but opposite. I would think that a cold ghost/spirit was cold because it didn't have love in it. I'm just guessing. I want to figure this out...but I've exhausted all my "theories". lol Sorry.

Music is very powerful and moving, and this song obviously touches you in some way.

The mind can produce cold chills, warm fuzzy feelings, and a slew of physical sensations. Music can reach out and stimulate these feelings through our emotions.

Sounds like power of suggestion to me. Feeling hot or cold can be either a physical or subjective sensation brought on by fear or other emotions (e.g., I feel hot when I'm nervous), as is "feeling really weird".
