Exercises for barrel racing?

what are some good exercises to do with my barrel horse so he wont get sick of doing the barrels.

I spend a lot of time on trails with mine. I also just like to lope her down sandy roads to keep her legged up and practice roll backs and flying lead changes. you might want to try and post this message under pets-(horses) i think you would have better luck with answers. good luck
