Express pass at islands of adventure?

Its our first time going to Islands of Adventre.. we're not really sure of how the tickets work... we're probably going with the one day one pass thing.. however, I heard the lines are LONG.. is there a way to avoid this by buying the express pass? We are staying off Universal Studios property... What do the price differences in the express passes represent? What pass should we buy? and is it even worth buying the pass?

You should get the universal express passes. The only thing is that it's pretty expensive and it's only good for one ride per attraction. However, it's worth it if you decide to have other plans to do that day but like i said it's worth it.

It is well worth buying the fast passe instead of waiting in the long lines getting pushed and people all in your ear you can sit back and laugh at the people who are waiting for centuries. Even the the passes are like 30 dollars i promise you, you will have a great time. The only way to avoiding long lines is getting up early in the morning( when the park opens) and ride all the attractions that you want to get on. You should buy the one day one pass because you would get tired of the all year one.
