Extra bag flying??

Question

so i was told that military could check an extra bag free even with the new checked bag rules. can anyone tell me if this is true with frontier?? i have called a few times and i keep getting different answeres from them some say yes some say no and it seams like thats how it is with any question i asked them so if anyone has taken a trip with them that is military is that true?

There is no fee for 2nd bag for active duty military -- per Frontier's website.

Active duty, no charge.

This from their website:

The following customers will not be charged a service fee to check a 2nd bag provided the bag is within the weight and size allowance:

    * For the second checked bag, customers who purchased a ticket before June 10, 2008

    * EarlyReturns® Summit and Ascent members

    * Active duty military personnel
