Eyeglasses prescription price???

how much in average would the prescription cost? also, how much would the eye exam cost??? normally my mom pays it so i dont really know...

Most eye exams cost about $35.00

Depending on your prescription the cost of glasses (lens) and plastic frames can cost as little as $70.00 up to the progressive trifocals that I have that cost over $600.00 with titanium frames. Large range.

I've never heard of a $35 eye exam.  Usually they're closer to $85-$100.  Glasses can run anywhere from $150 on up depending on the type and brand name of frame you get and the type of lense you get (plastic, scratch resistant, transitions, etc).  So generally the whole thing can start at about $250 and that is if you don't have any kind of eye care insurance. If you do, the actual out of pocket cost could be less than $100 for everything.
