  1. actually, i moved from

no-test to preliminary without even a single axel

and preliminary to juvenile in one competition.

i wasnt ready, so it really put down my confidence alot.

    and i mean, alot.

now im in intermediate and im finally placing in competitions and such.

i dont really know what your working on jump and spin wise but in intermediate if you want to place you need

all doubles maybe double axel and triple sal/toe, depending on competition. and combonations

    level 4 spins

    really nice footwork and technique.

    5, 6, 7 days a week,

im intermediate and i skate 5-6,

but if your only skating an hour at a time forget it.

    you need commitment

and dont forget about stretching and off-ice

you will get NOWHERE if you dont do off-ice and stretching.

it all depends on your commitment,

  2. Why not?

  3. Definitely. That's 2 levels so 4 tests?

  4. Yes, I pretty much did in one day today cuz I got my double axel, but I need to test. I never tried it off the harness until today and I landed it perfectly.

I've been skating 5 days a week (11 hrs/week) when I started in pre juv one year ago. I got my double flip, lutz, and axel one after the other.  I just need to test intermediate moves, juv. freeskate, and intermediate freeskate and I'm there! Just as long as you have confidence and good technique, you can do it.

  5. You can do anything you want if you put your mind to it. One summer i was in FS 3, and the next summer I was in FS 5. Just work hard and you can do it.

  6. it should be fine as long as you have all your doubles (including your double axel)

  7. Sure!  I think that's a totally attainable goal.  Now, if you were asking about going from pre-pre to intermediate in a year, that'd be a different story!  Maybe get your moves tests out of the way first and then go back and take the freestyle tests.  Good luck!!  :)

  8. Any thing is possible.  If your afraid ( like I am ) Then no.  But I fou do what you said then yes.  Have good time.  It helps if you have a really strict coach! I was afaid to do anything till  got a new coach and she started yelling at me.  Good luck!
