FISH TANK - Water Conditioner

Question

How do I use a Water Conditioner on a 29 Gallon Tank, okay so i fill it up with water, and how do i use the Water Conditioner, how much do i add? and please explane the whole process

Read the directions and do the math.  There are lots of different types and you need to add the amount that is right for the kind you have.

look on the back of the bottle-- itll say, if not maybe try a google search if u know the brand? i have 2 types of conditioner ,form the same brand too, and one needs 2ml to the gallon and the other only 2 drops to the gallon, there is NO way to tell without knowing the brand....

Why Water Conditioners Come In Handy?

Chemicals are added to tap water to reduce the levels of bacteria and other pathogens that may harm humans. Water conditioners contain a combination of chemicals that are formulated to neutralize other chemicals such as chlorine and chloramines, which may be harmful to fish.

Water conditioners are sold in small bottles at most aquarium outlets or online stores. The directions on the bottle usually recommend adding one drop of conditioner to each gallon of tap water. It is an economical and convenient way to make the water in fish bowls safe, and it’s wise to have water conditioner on hand to deal with foamy or cloudy aquarium water, or other disasters.

If a disaster should occur to ruin the quality of your aquarium or pond water, you may have no choice but to change most or all of it. In such cases, a water conditioner will be useful.

it tells you on the back how much to add, and it depends on the brand you buy. For my tank it is about 1.5 capfulls. you simply add it and it should work almost instantaneously. you might also want to look up cycling a tank before you add fish.
