underground to Kings Cross,

train to Cambridge.

about 2-2.5  hours (depending on time of day/weekend etc)

OR

vile horrid National Express Caoch direct from Heathrow central coach station to Cambridge coach station

at least 3-3.5 hours depending on traffic

OR

Horrid overpacked Underground from Heathrow to Kings Cross (picadilly line)

Train from Kings Cross to Cambridge.

about 3 hours

i do this trip OFTEN.

Alternatively get a pre booked taxi such as

as short as 1.5 hours - depend on traffic - £90 from Heathrow to Cambridge

They are reliable and good and honest. Prices on their website. They will beat or equal any other quote. Nice drivers. certainly worth it if you are doing a return trip back to Heathrow and also if there are more than 1 of you.

piccadilly line tube to holborn,central line to liverpool street station,take train to cambridge.or airbus to victoria travel by bus to cambridge.or take taxi all the way if you have a lot of luggage cost £180!
