Fabulous family holidays?

Question

I have two children starting school in Sept 2009 and would like to take us all on a fabulous family holiday in the August. Children are 2, 4 and 10. We are in UK and would like to go somewhere special, pretty much anywhere in the world, that also has good childcare so the grown-ups can have some fun too! Good weather a must as I am mentally scarred by a recent wet week in the West Country. Any suggestions?

if u are on cheap budget holiday, take the kids to disney land in paris... and go to Nice Town.

  I always have fun when I'm with my kids. Family vacations are just that family no need for childcare. Wait till they are 18 and gone. Life is too short to be without them. School and work already take too much time away from being with them.

Six years ago I went to Orlando, Florida, USA. It was the best vacation I ever had, and so did my husband. I am planning to take my kids in three years time. The kids will love the parks, Sea World, Disney World, Universal Studios...and even adults will love it. After one week in Orlando we went to Miami where we were booked for a five day cruise in the Caribbean. It was fantastic, the cruise ship alone was a dream, the lands we visited fascintating, we took part in so much activities and on ship there are child carers and entertainers to take care of the kids while grownp ups go to the club or dine...Check it out.
