Which is better for the money, Manufactured or Modular?

Either one. If you place a manufactured home on a foundation on private property, it's permanent.  They will not appreciate as much as a mod, but lower cost.

Modulars are no different than site built, other than the lower price.  As a matter of fact, some of them are better. They are built under controllent environments, to strict government standards.

They're the same thing.  All modular homes are manufactured.  The term manufactured homes can also include mobile homes and doublewides.  The best for the money is a site built home although its OK if parts are built in a modular home factory.
